Making mayonnaise!

L’última part de la pràctica “The impossible mixtures: the emulsions” consisteix en fer dues salses, la maionesa i la vinagreta, per tal de veure una de les aplicacions més importants de les emulsions a la cuina.

The last part of the practice “The impossible mixtures: the emulsions” consists in makng two sauces, mayonnaise and vinaigrette, with the aim of checking that sauces are one of the most important applications of the emulsions in the kitchen.

En aquesta entrada explicarem com fer maionesa i el material i productes que necessitarem.

In this post we are going to explain how to make mayonnaise and the material  and products that we are going to need.

Material i productes. Material and products.

– 1 ou (1 egg)

– oli (oil)

– vinagre (vinegar)

– batedora (mixer)

– pot allargat (long bowl)

 

 

Procediment. Instructions.

1. Separa la clara i el rovell de l’ou, posa el rovell al pot.

1. Separate the egg white and the yolk, put the yolk in the bowl.


 

 

 

2. Afegeix oli i una mica de vinagre al pot.

2. Add oil and a little bit of vinegar in the bowl.

 

 

 

 

 

3. Batem la barreja amb una batedora elèctica.

3. Stir the mixture with a mixer.

 

 

 

 

Un cop quedi una mescla espessa ja tenim la maionesa feta!

When the mixture is thick enough we have the mayonnaise done!
